Unfortunately we were away for this talk but Di Carr writes
"Dressed in costume of a 17th century lady Vivienne Derricott spoke about
the lot of women in 17th century England, describing the pattern of
life from the dangers of birth, through childhood, to betrothal and
marriage. A picture of the typical life and duties of a wife and mother
was portrayed and left us in no doubt that as today a woman's work is
never done!"
